EWOQE: engineering practice pyrotechnics for serious operators.
We are an engineering workshop in Eggermühlen, Lower Saxony. For years we have built functional hardware for industrial customers — jigs, housings, short-run components that had to survive real use. QuietBlast Tactical is what happened when that capability met a problem nobody in the airsoft market had solved.
The use case
MilSim teams wanted grenade drills that felt like the real thing. What they could buy was either a plastic BB shower with no credibility, or pyrotechnics so loud that indoor sites banned them and players ended up in hearing protection all day. Training suffered on both ends.
Our answer
We reverse-engineered the geometry and lever kinematics of the Bundeswehr standard hand grenade and rebuilt it as a polymer body. Then we spent the development budget where it matters: the charge. A tuned, ultra-low net explosive mass formulation keeps the report sharp and believable while dropping peak sound pressure far below conventional practice pyrotechnics.
On-demand production
Every unit is assembled and loaded to order in batches with traceable codes. Nothing ages in a warehouse, every geometry improvement reaches the next customer immediately, and we can scale from a single unit to squad-level resupply without retooling.
Compliance is not an afterthought
All articles are classified as category F1 pyrotechnics under Directive 2013/29/EU and the German 1. SprengV — freely available from 18 years. We verify age at entry, at checkout and on delivery, and ship as compliant hazardous goods.
